UAE schools and universities to resume in-person classes from Monday

In a statement, the ministries confirmed that approved security and safety protocols and procedures would be implemented across educational institutions to ensure the wellbeing of students, teaching staff and administrative teams.

Authorities said the precautionary measures were aimed at maintaining educational continuity while safeguarding the community during heightened security alerts linked to missile and drone interceptions by UAE air defence systems.
Educational institutions had continued classes and assessments remotely through previously established online learning platforms during the temporary transition.
The latest announcement confirms a return to normal classroom operations from Monday, with institutions expected to follow all approved safety guidelines issued by relevant authorities.
