UAE launches pilot for digital attestation of documents
Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the launch of a pilot phase for its digital attestation service for electronic documents, effective from April 27.
The move aims to promote proactive and intelligent digital services that respond to evolving user needs.
The ministry said the service was introduced in response to customer feedback and enables the attestation of digital documents equipped with modern verification features, including QR codes, reference numbers and barcodes, enhancing both reliability and ease of validation.

Under the new system, users can obtain attestation from the ministry as well as UAE missions in the destination country through integrated digital channels, including the official website and smart application, streamlining what has traditionally been a multi-step process.
