March 25, Kuwait: The Interior Ministry said it had dismantled a Hezbollah-linked cell and foiled a plot to assassinate state leaders and senior officials and harm the country’s higher interests. Six suspects were arrested, while additional fugitives were identified abroad. Authorities said the group had received military training, including in weapons and explosives.
March 31, Bahrain: Authorities said they had arrested three individuals for forming a terrorist cell affiliated with Hezbollah. The suspects, in coordination with elements abroad, sought to engage in espionage aimed at undermining the country’s sovereignty, spreading fear among citizens and residents, and endangering national security.
