UAE condemns attacks, vandalism at its Damascus embassy

In a statement, the The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasised the UAE’s categorical rejection of subversive practices, stressing the importance of protecting diplomatic premises, missions, and personnel in line with international law, particularly the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which guarantees full immunity for diplomatic buildings and staff.
The UAE also urged the Syrian Arab Republic to secure the embassy and its personnel, investigate the attacks, prevent future incidents, and take all necessary legal measures to hold the perpetrators accountable.
