The Fujairah Government Media Office said UAE air defence systems successfully intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the emirate. Following the interception and debris landed on a farm in Al-Rifa’a. A Bangladeshi national died as a result of the incident, authorities said. Officials stressed the importance of obtaining information from official channels only, warning that the spread of rumours and unverified reports could cause unnecessary panic among the public. Authorities and emergency teams remain at the site, continuing to monitor the situation and ensure safety in the surrounding area. Residents were urged to follow updates through official government platforms.
