David Berding / Getty Images Share full article1INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton revealed Monday during his season-ending exit interview that he still has face shingles and “lost part of (his) eyebrow” due to the viral infection. The two-time All-Star missed the entire 2025-26 season due to a torn right Achilles, but he said that shingles have been the most frustrating aspect of returning to basketball and normal life. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle announced in February that Haliburton had been diagnosed with shingles and would be away from the team while he recovered. My eye is always swollen from itching it,” Haliburton said. “I have good days and bad days, but for the most part, it’s bad days. So, it has not been any fun. “I’m still honestly dealing with it. I’ve been taking unbelievable amounts of medication to try to get rid of it. It hasn’t worked. It’s obviously caused me to gain weight and look a little bigger.
