Two Met PCs charged over death of pregnant woman6 minutes agoShareSaveAdd as preferred on GoogleBBCTwo Metropolitan Police officers have been charged after a heavily pregnant woman and her unborn child were killed in a crash with their unmarked police car in south-east London.PC Chris Johnson has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and former PC Danny Tomkins has been charged with dangerous driving following an investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct.The 38-year-old woman's child died at the scene of the crash on the A20, near the junction with Kidbrooke Park in Kidbrooke on 17 October 2024.
