Two dead and several injured after car rams into crowds in Germany

Two people are confirmed dead and several injured after a car rammed into crowds in the eastern German city of Leipzig, reports have said.

A damaged Volkswagen SUV with a person on top of the vehicle was seen speeding through a pedestrian zone, local broadcasters reported.

Eyewitnesses have claimed there were several bodies reportedly covered with sheets as well as a stabbing.
