Two dead after house fires strike just four hours apart

Emergency services attended a blaze at a home on Tuncoee Road in Villawood, 33km west of Sydney, shortly after 6pm on Wednesday.  Firefighters extinguished the blaze and helped evacuate two women inside the home, one in her 70s and another in her 50s.  The older woman, who has not been identified, was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene but later died at Liverpool Hospital.  A report will be prepared for the coroner.  The other woman was also treated for smoke inhalation before being taken to hospital as a precaution. A crime scene was established and an investigation launched, though police have not identified any suspicious circumstances.  Just four hours later, emergency services were called to a tourist park at Greenwell Point, about 15km east of Nowra.  A man and woman have died following separate house fires in NSW within a matter of hours  Firefighters found a mobile home on Greens Road engulfed in flames and located the body of an occupant, believed to be an elderly man, inside.  Another man was treated at the scene for serious burns and smoke inhalation before being taken to hospital in a serious condition.
