Toplantısı'nda alınan karar ile Mehmet Demiroğlu'nun yönetim kurulu başkanı olduğu bildirildi. Demiroğlu da "TEI Yönetim Kurulu Başkanlığı görevini üstlenmiş olmaktan büyük onur duyuyorum. Yeni dönemde milli havacılık hedeflerimiz doğrultusunda, ülkemize değer katacak çalışmaları hep birlikte sürdürmeye devam edeceğiz." değerlendirmesinde bulundu. Mehmet Demiroğlu, makine mühendisliği alanında Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesinden lisans derecesini aldıktan sonra, yüksek lisans ve doktora eğitimlerini Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’ta tamamladı, Advanced Innovative Technologies’de proje mühendisi olarak çalıştı. Demiroğlu, 2001-2004 yılları arasında Pro/Solutions International’da proje yöneticisi olarak görev aldı ve ardından GE Global Research Center’da tasarım mühendisi olarak çalıştı. GE Energy Storage ve GE Energy’de çeşitli mühendislik pozisyonlarında bulunan Demiroğlu, 2012 yılında GRTC şirketini kurarak genel müdürlük görevini üstlendi. BMC Power’da AR-GE direktörü ve genel müdür yardımcısı olarak görev yaptıktan sonra TEI’de turboşaft program direktörlüğü ve AR-GE direktörlüğü pozisyonlarında bulunan Demiroğlu, 2021-2022 yılları arasında TUSAŞ Akademi Başkanı olarak görev yaptı, sonra helikopter genel müdür yardımcısı olarak görev aldı. Demiroğlu, 11 Haziran 2024'ten bu yana TUSAŞ Genel Müdürü olarak görevini sürdürüyor.
