kurmakla görevlendirilen Ali Zeydi'nin tebrik edildiği; bu gelişmenin Irak halkına hayırlı olmasının dilendiği bildirildi. Açıklamada, Irak'ta yeni hükümetin teşkili sürecinin bir an önce tamamlanmasının ümit edildiği belirtilerek "Irak’la sahip olduğumuz derin tarihi, beşeri, kültürel ve iktisadi ilişkilerden güç alarak tesis ettiğimiz stratejik ve kurumsal işbirliğini bölgesel boyutları da kapsayacak şekilde önümüzdeki dönemde daha da ilerletmeyi hedefliyoruz." ifadelerine yer verildi. Irak Cumhurbaşkanı Nizar Amedi, 27 Nisan'da Meclisteki en büyük grup olan Koordinasyon Çerçevesi'nin başbakan adayı olarak gösterdiği iş insanı Ali Zeydi'ye hükümeti kurma görevini vermişti. Irak’taki birçok Şii, Sünni, Kürt ve Türkmen siyasi parti de Zeydi'yi tebrik ederek destek mesajları yayımlamıştı. Zeydi'nin, görevlendirme mektubunu almasının ardından en geç 30 gün içinde kabinesini oluşturarak Meclisten güvenoyu alması gerekiyor.
