Buna göre, Türkiye genelinde 15 ve daha yukarı yaş grubundaki işsiz sayısı, martta bir önceki aya kıyasla 96 bin azalarak 2 milyon 873 bin kişiye geriledi. İşsizlik oranı da 0,3 puan azalışla yüzde 8,1 seviyesinde gerçekleşti. İşsizlik oranı, geçen yılın aynı ayına göre ise 0,1 puan arttı. İşsizlik oranı erkeklerde yüzde 6,8, kadınlarda yüzde 10,7 olarak tahmin edildi. Söz konusu ayda 15-24 yaş grubunu kapsayan genç nüfustaki işsizlik oranı, martta bir önceki aya göre 0,5 puan azalarak yüzde 15,3 oldu. Bu yaş grubunda işsizlik oranı erkeklerde yüzde 12,8, kadınlarda yüzde 20,4 olarak hesaplandı. TÜİK, bazı aylara ilişkin verilerde revizyona gitti. Buna göre 2024-2026 dönemi mevsim etkilerinden arındırılmış işsizlik oranları şöyle: Türkiye'de istihdam edilenlerin sayısı, martta aylık bazda 226 bin kişi artarak, 32 milyon 425 bin kişi oldu. İstihdam edilenlerden referans döneminde iş başında olanların mevsim ve takvim etkilerinden arındırılmış haftalık ortalama fiili çalışma süresi, martta bir önceki aya göre 0,8 saat azalarak, 41,7 saat olarak gerçekleşti. Zamana bağlı eksik istihdam, potansiyel iş gücü ve işsizlerden oluşan atıl iş gücü oranı, martta aylık bazda 1,6 puan artarak, yüzde 31,5 oldu. Zamana bağlı eksik istihdam ve işsizlerin bütünleşik oranı yüzde 21 iken, işsiz ve potansiyel iş gücünün bütünleşik oranı yüzde 20,4 olarak tahmin edildi.
