yılın ilk çeyreğinde 638 bin 442 ton ürünün dış pazarlarda değerlendirildiği turunçgil sektöründe 697 milyon 678 bin 706 dolarlık döviz girdisi elde edildi. Dış satımda bu dönemde 434 milyon 449 bin 879 dolarla mandalina zirvede yer alırken, bu ürünü 142 milyon 828 bin 519 dolarla limon takip etti. Çok sayıda pazarda alıcısı bulunan Türk turunçgilinde en fazla mandalina Irak'a gönderildi. Yılın ilk çeyreğinde Irak'a satılan 62 bin 403 ton mandalina karşılığında 146 milyon 192 bin 416 dolar gelir sağlandı. Mandalinada Irak'ı 136 milyon 694 bin 904 dolarla Rusya, 23 milyon 954 bin 960 dolarla Polonya, 23 milyon 857 bin 925 dolarla Ukrayna, 10 milyon 884 bin 554 dolarla Sırbistan takip etti. Ocak-mart döneminde ihracatın ikinci sırasında yer alan limonda ise en çok satış Rusya'ya yapıldı. Bu ülkeye 32 bin 783 ton limon gönderildi, ihracattan 46 milyon 468 bin 358 dolar elde edildi. Limon dış satımında Rusya'yı 42 milyon 719 bin 375 dolarla Irak, 9 milyon 53 bin dolarla Romanya, 7 milyon 813 bin 134 dolarla Sırbistan, 5 milyon 611 bin 807 dolarla Ukrayna izledi. Ulusal Turunçgil Konseyi Başkan Vekili Kemal Kaçmaz, AA muhabirine, Türkiye'de üretilen turunçgile uluslararası pazarda talebin arttığını söyledi. İlk çeyrekteki dış satımdan memnun olduklarını belirten Kaçmaz, "Turunçgil sektöründe sürdürülebilir üretim, kalite standardı ve markalaşma noktalarında yapmış olduğumuz çalışmalar önümüzdeki süreçte devam edecektir. Bu doğrultuda atılan adımlar Türkiye'nin küreseldeki turunçgil konumunu daha güçlü hale getirecektir." diye konuştu. Kaçmaz, dış satımı daha geniş bir coğrafyaya yaymak için çalışmalarına aralıksız devam ettiklerini dile getirdi. Ülkelerin tüketim alışkanlıklarının ihracata yansıdığını belirten Kaçmaz, şunları ifade etti: “Turunçgil ürünlerinde pazarın isteği doğrultusunda üretimler ülkemizde devam ediyor. Tüketim alışkanlığına bağlı olarak da ürünlerimiz ihraç ediliyor. Rusya daha çok limon tüketiyor ve bu doğrultuda talepleri var. Yine Irak'taki tüketiciler de kolay soyulabilen meyvelere karşı tüketim alışkanlığı var. Coğrafi olarak ihracat yaptığımız ülkelere yakınız.
