(KTTO) ve Türk Dünyası Sivil Toplum İşbirliği Derneği (TÜRKSİT) ortaklıklarında düzenlenen "Türkiye-KKTC Ekonomik İlişkilerinin Güçlendirilmesi" başlıklı toplantı, OSTİM Organize Sanayi Bölgesi (OSB) Konferans Salonu'nda yapıldı. KKTC Ekonomi ve Enerji Bakanı Olgun Amcaoğlu, burada yaptığı konuşmada, ülkenin bütün izolasyon ve ambargolara rağmen ayakta durduğunu belirtti. Amcaoğlu, KKTC'nin turizm alanında geldiği noktaya işaret ederek, halihazırdaki 32 bin yatak kapasitesinin, 2030'a kadar 50 bine ulaştırılmasının hedeflendiğini söyledi. KKTC'nin yıllık 4 milyon turiste ulaşma hedefine dikkati çeken Amcaoğlu, "Bunun yanında şu an 160 milyon dolar civarında olan ihracatını, 2030'da 1 milyar dolara çekme hedefiyle, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ile birlikte omuz omuza mücadele veren bir Kıbrıs Türk halkından rahatlıkla bahsedebiliriz." dedi. Amcaoğlu, KKTC'nin kendi üreticisi, sanayicisi ve ticaret erbabıyla gösterdiği var olma mücadelesinin başarıyla devam ettiğini vurguladı. Ticaret Bakanlığı Uluslararası Anlaşmalar ve Avrupa Birliği Genel Müdürü Hüsnü Dilemre, Bakanlık olarak diğer kurumların da katkılarıyla KKTC'nin maruz kaldığı ekonomik ambargo ve izolasyonun, Türkiye üzerinden aşılması için her türlü çalışmayı yürüttüklerini söyledi. Dilemre, temel önceliğin, Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan'ın vurguladığı gibi KKTC'nin dünya ekonomisiyle tam entegrasyonu sağlamış bir yapıya kavuşması olduğunu belirtti. KKTC'nin eğitimden turizme, işlenmiş tarım ürünleri ve yapı malzemelerinden yüksek teknolojili sanayi ürünlerinin üretimine kadar birçok alanda yatırım potansiyeli barındırdığına işaret eden Dilemre, iş insanları için yeni fikir ve ortaklıkların gelişeceğini anlattı. Türkiye-KKTC Parlamentolararası Dostluk Grubu Başkanı Orhan Erdem ise KKTC'nin güvenliğinin, yatırım için uygun olduğunu gösterdiğini söyledi. KTTO Başkanı Turgay Deniz, odanın kuruluşundan bu yana Kıbrıs Türk halkının ekonomik olarak ayakta kalabilmesi için sorumluluk üstlendiğini belirtti. Ekonomik güç olmadan sürdürülebilir bir geleceğin mümkün olmadığını dile getiren Deniz, "Bugün Kıbrıs Türk halkı, tüm dünyanın adil olmayan şekilde uygulamış olduğu izolasyonlar altında yaşam mücadelesi vermektedir. Ancak ne kadar izolasyon uygulanırsa uygulansın, ana vatan Türkiye Cumhuriyetimiz yanımızda olduğu sürece bu izolasyonlar bizi yıldıramaz." dedi. OSTİM OSB Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Orhan Aydın, bölgenin kendisini yakın coğrafyasından da sorumlu tuttuğunu, bu kapsamda işbirliklerini geliştirmeye yönelik çalışmalar yürüttüklerini anlattı. EkoAvrasya Vakfı Mütevelli Heyeti Başkanı Hikmet Eren, KKTC'nin, Mavi Vatan'ın sarsılmaz muhafızı ve Türk Dünyası'nın Akdeniz'e açılan kapısı olduğunu ifade etti. Eren, buranın enerji koridorlarının kesişme noktasında, küresel ticaret yollarının ise tam ortasında yer aldığını vurgulayarak, "KKTC'nin ekonomik olarak kendi ayakları üzerinde durması, sadece Kıbrıs Türk halkının refahı için değil, büyük Türk milletinin bölgesel liderliği ve bekası için de büyük bir teminattır. Ekonomik olarak güçlü bir KKTC, Doğu Akdeniz'de istikrarın ve refahın en önemli adresi olacaktır." diye konuştu. TÜRKSİT Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Kemal Kurnaz ise Türkiye ve KKTC arasındaki tarihi, kültürel ve ekonomik bağlara dikkati çekerek, KKTC'nin kendi ayakları üzerinde durabilen güçlü yapıya kavuşmasının, Türk Dünyası'nın Akdeniz'deki stratejik konumunu güçlendirmesi için önemli olduğunu kaydetti. Konuşmaların ardından Bakan Amcaoğlu ile KTTO Başkanı Deniz'e günün anısına plaket takdim edildi.
