tarihi bir protokole imza atıldığı bildirildi. Protokole göre, başta Polis Akademisi olmak üzere tüm PMYO (Polis Meslek Yüksekokulu) ve POMEM (Polis Meslek Eğitim Merkezi) müfredatında yer alan "Polis Müdahale Yöntem ve Taktikleri" dersleri, federasyonun uzmanlık desteğiyle modernize edilecek. İç Güvenlik Fakültesi'ndeki gönüllü amir adayları, mezuniyetlerine kadar federasyonun gözetiminde uzmanlaşarak "siyah kuşak" derecesiyle göreve başlayacak. Açıklamada görüşlerine yer verilen Türkiye Judo Federasyonu Başkanı Sezer Huysuz, şunları kaydetti: "Amacımız; yetişen öğrencilerin judo ile tanışmasını sağlayarak eğitimlerine destek sunmaktır. Bu sayede polisimiz, olaylara doğru teknikle müdahale ederken kendisi zarar görmeyecek, şüphelinin beden bütünlüğünü ve vatandaşın güvenliğini en üst düzeyde koruyacak fiziksel donanıma kavuşacaktır."
