Duane Davis is only man ever charged in relation to drive-by shooting of Shakur in Las Vegas

Nearly 30 years after the iconic artist’s killing, Duane “Keffe D” Davis, 63, a former South Side Compton Crips gang leader, faces one count of murder with a deadly weapon in connection with the 1996 shooting. Prosecutors are alleging that Davis helped orchestrate the shooting, though he is not accused of being the gunman. Davis has pleaded not guilty.
