The US President is in Beijing for a highly anticipated summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The visit comes as Trump's popularity at home has declined as a result of the US and Israeli war against Iran - where a ceasefire hangs in the balance - and the energy crisis sparked by the conflict. Trump is keen to sign deals with China to buy more American food and aircraft, saying he will discuss trade "more than anything else" with Xi. The pair are due to hold talks tomorrow. In the video posted on Truth Social, Trump is seen stepping off Air Force One onto a red carpet as hundreds of people wave flags of the People’s Republic of China flag and the United States.
