Donald Trump was filmed appearing to stumble as he was helped off the stage by special agents after a gunman opened fire during the Wh ite House Correspondents' Dinner. Cole Tomas Allen, 31, from Torrance, California , has been identified as the suspected gunman who was armed with guns and knives when he stormed the Washington Hilton on Saturday night . As chaos broke out in the room, the president was rushed off the stage along with the other guests. Vice President JD Vance was removed from the room first, while agents initially covered Trump with automatic weapons before escorting him and First Lady Melania Trump away.
