Trump BLOCKADES Strait of Hormuz as US Navy is deployed to mine-riddled powder keg after Iran rejected peace

Two US warships, the USS Franklin Petersen and the USS Michael Murphy, sailed through the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday. The Strait of Hormuz is a powder keg: just 21 miles wide at its narrowest point, filled with mines and within striking distance of missiles and drones fired from a labyrinth of Iranian mountains. Any move by the US Navy to blockade or forcibly secure it would risk heavy losses. 'Iran promised to open the Strait of Hormuz, and they knowingly failed to do so,' Trump also noted in his Sunday morning post. 'This caused anxiety, dislocation, and pain to many people and Countries throughout the World. They say they put mines in the water, even though all of their Navy, and most of their “mine droppers,” have been completely blown up.' 'They may have done so, but what ship owner would want to take the chance? There is great dishonor and permanent harm to the reputation of Iran, and what’s left of their “Leaders,” but we are beyond all of that,' Trump continued.
