Tributes to Gogglebox star who died after illness31 minutes agoShareSaveAdd as preferred on GoogleChannel4/PAKen Harwood and his wife Anne were popular Gogglebox cast members from series 15 to 19A Gogglebox star who featured in the TV programme for five seasons has died following a short illness.Production company Studio Lambert, which makes the Channel 4 show, said Ken Harwood died last week at the age of 77.Harwood, from Consett, County Durham, was a regular on the series between 2020 and 2022 alongside his wife of 55-years Anne.A studio Lambert spokesperson said: "He will be dearly missed by his wife Anne, sons Simon and Ross, daughter-in-law, Elle, grandchildren Freya and Tristram, and all who knew him."The company added a tribute to Ken Harwood will be featured at the end of the episode of Gogglebox airing on Channel 4 later.He was a postmaster for 30 years and went on to be a local councillor before retiring in 2013.Follow BBC North East on X, Facebook, Nextdoor and Instagram.
