Travis Kelce sparks wedding guest list drama as NFL friends left unhappy ahead of Taylor Swift wedding

Travis Kelce's wedding celebrations with Taylor Swift have reportedly been overshadowed by guest list drama after some of his NFL friends were left unhappy at missing out on an exclusive pre-wedding event.

While around 1,000 guests are expected to attend Friday's lavish wedding celebrations in New York, reports claim not everyone received the same level of access, with several members of Kelce's wider football circle omitted from Thursday night's intimate rehearsal dinner.

According to the Daily Mail, the Kansas City Chiefs star reserved the smaller gathering for his closest friends and long-time confidants, leaving others invited only to the main celebration.

"There is a general invite to everyone on the team," a source said.

"But it doesn't extend to some of the front office people, so there's some feelings there. And also, not everyone on the team has the same invite.

"A few who he's closer to have more info and it sounds like there's something smaller that they get to go to."

Despite the reported frustration, Kelce's inner circle arrived in New York in eye-catching style as the wedding festivities got underway.

Among the first to appear were childhood friend Aric Jones and management twins Aaron and Andre Eanes, who have worked alongside Kelce for more than a decade and helped transform him into one of the NFL's biggest commercial stars.

Former NFL tight end Ross Travis, another close friend of the groom, was also spotted arriving alongside partner Sarah Blackburn King.

San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle and his wife Claire attracted plenty of attention as they made their entrance.

Claire wore a sleek black dress, while Kittle opted for a more unconventional outfit featuring shorts, sunglasses and Spider-Man-inspired Nike Air Jordan 1 trainers.

Earlier this week, Kittle admitted he had been kept largely in the dark about the wedding plans despite receiving an invitation.

"I genuinely don't know where I'm going," he joked.

The couple only reached New York on Thursday after travel disruption delayed their departure from Nashville.

Also attending the exclusive rehearsal dinner was Fox Sports broadcaster Erin Andrews, who played an unexpected role in Kelce and Swift's romance.

Months before the pair confirmed their relationship, Andrews publicly urged the pop superstar to give the Chiefs tight end a chance during an episode of her podcast.

She later became friends with the couple and arrived alongside her husband, former NHL player Jarret Stoll.

Swift's side of the celebrations was equally star-studded.

Long-time collaborator Jack Antonoff, one of the singer's closest friends in the music industry, was among those seen ahead of the wedding weekend.

Former Chiefs quarterback Shane Buechele and his wife Paige were also spotted in New York after recently dining at Meduza Mediterrania, the restaurant co-owned by Kelce and teammate Patrick Mahomes.

Former Super Bowl winner Andrew Whitworth and ex-NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick were among the wider football figures also expected to celebrate with the couple.
