gelişen sanayisiyle üretim kapasitesini artıran Tekirdağ, 222 milyon 45 bin 750 dolarla ön plana çıkan il oldu. Bölgenin nisan ayı ihracatında Kırklareli 12 milyon 538 bin 660 dolarla ikinci, Edirne ise 9 milyon 807 bin 50 dolarla üçüncü sırada yerini aldı. Sektörel bazda Tekirdağ'dan en fazla ihracat demir ve demir dışı metaller sektöründe yapılırken Kırklareli ve Edirne'de hububat, bakliyat, yağlı tohumlar ve mamulleri sektörüyle öne çıktı. En çok ihracat gerçekleştirilen ülke bazında Tekirdağ'dan 35 milyon 479 bin 80 dolar ile Almanya'ya, Kırklareli'nden 1 milyon 453 bin 480 dolar ile Gana'ya, Edirne'den 1 milyon 552 bin 350 dolarlık ürün Kosova'ya gönderildi. Tekirdağ, Kırklareli ve Edirne'den ocak-nisan döneminde gerçekleştirilen ihracat 815 milyon 557 bin 460 dolara ulaştı.
