Balkan Yarımadası Göçmenleri Derneği (BAL-GÖÇ Trakya) Başkanı Veli Öner, AA muhabirine, Bulgaristan'da hükümetin kurulması için çifte vatandaşların sabırsızlıkla seçimi beklediğini söyledi. Bulgaristan'ın 4 yılda yapılan 8'inci erken seçimi olduğunu anımsatan Öner, bu seçim sonuçlarıyla hükümetin kurulmasını arzu ettiklerini belirtti. Bulgaristan seçimlerinin çifte vatandaşlar için çok önemli olduğunu dile getiren Öner, "Geleceğimize sahip çıkmak için herkesi gün içerisinde gelip oylarını kullanmaya davet ediyorum. Bulgaristan Parlamentosunda son alınan kararla Avrupa Birliği'ne üye olmayan ülkeler için sandık kısıtlaması yaptılar. Bu, bizi çok rahatsız etti çünkü Türkiye'de 250 binden fazla çifte vatandaş var oy kullanmak isteyen. Herkes sandığa gelsin ki bundan sonraki seçimler için bir mesaj vermiş olalım." diye konuştu. Kırklareli Balkan Türkleri Göçmenler Dayanışma Derneği Başkanı Erol Ateş de Bulgaristan'da hükümetin kurulması için çifte vatandaşların 8'inci kez sandık başına gittiklerini söyledi. Vatandaşların artık yorulduğunu belirten Ateş, "Bizim heyecanımız hiçbir zaman bitmeyecek. Her defasında tekrarlıyoruz ama 77 olsun, 87 olsun, bu seçimlere her defasında gideceğiz. Biliyorsunuz demokrasinin gereği bu. Demokratik hakkımızı her defasında kullanacağız." dedi. Çifte vatandaşlardan Aydın Terlemez de Lüleburgaz ilçesinin Seyitler köyünden oy kullanmak için sandık başına geldiğini belirtti. Seçimlerin hem Türkiye'deki hem de Bulgaristan'daki Türkler için çok önemli olduğunu ifade eden Terlemez, hayırlı olmasını diledi. Tekirdağ'da da çifte vatandaşlar, Çorlu ve Ergene ilçelerinde oy kullanma işlemlerini gerçekleştiriyor. Trakya Balkan STK Platformu Başkanı Güner Çetin de Tekirdağ'da yaşayan çifte vatandaşların oy kullanmaya başladıklarını dile getirdi. Sandık sayısındaki bu büyük düşüşe rağmen katılımın artacağına inandıklarını belirten Çetin, seçimin önemli olduğunu ifade etti.
