Officers arrived to find the 23-year-old dead with significant injuries. He is not believed to have been a resident or worker at the property. 'Initial inquiries indicate the man may have been attacked by animals prior to his death,' NSW Police said. Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon said investigators were examining whether the man had entered the property unlawfully, describing it as a 'very key line of inquiry'.  The property, never completed and known for its circular design that inspired the nickname 'Saturn's Rings', is unlike any other home in Sydney.  It was built as both a family residence and the headquarters of an unusual spiritual movement.  Following news of the young man's death, a Campbelltown woman's account of a separate tragedy at the abandoned property resurfaced.  Locals say the Sydney mansion known as 'Saturn's Rings' at Eschol Park, where a 23-year-old man was found dead on Wednesday after a suspected dog attack, has a tragic history  A Campbelltown woman said her sister died at the abandoned property in 1982 after falling 40m from the top level In 2023, the woman posted on a community noticeboard on social media. In the post, seen by the Daily Mail, she said her sister died aged 16 after falling 40m from the top level of the building in February 1982.  'While looking up information for my family, it has come to my attention that people think this was an 'urban legend' or 'urban myth' and probably didn't happen,' she said at the time. '(That) was quite shocking to me and heartbreaking that this tragedy was forgotten and not even used to stop kids in the future from going to the property - (or to) have it pulled down or fenced off. 'No, it actually happened and no, she was not drunk or fooling around.' The woman said the property was 'renowned' among local children as a place to hang out, ride bikes and drink. Polish immigrant Stefan Dzwonnik designed and built the mansion as a home for his family and as the headquarters of his 'Universal Power World Society', according to archival records published by Campbelltown Library.  Stefan, who died in 2018, envisioned the property becoming a 'mecca for a worldwide movement directed toward a better life on Earth'. 'At the scene, a 53-year-old man was treated for a minor hand injury,' police told the ABC in a statement. 'The dogs were taken to the animal shelter to be euthanised.' Campbelltown City Mayor Darcy Lound said the death had 'shocked our caring community'. 'Regardless of the details, it's just a tragic event. Our heart goes out to the gentleman's family,' he said.
