Antalya'da yollara çıktı. AA muhabirinin, Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu (TÜİK) verilerinden derlediği bilgiye göre, yurt içinde trafiğe kayıtlı araç sayısı, mart sonu itibarıyla geçen yılın aynı ayına kıyasla, yüzde 7 artışla 34 milyon 23 bin 986'ya yükseldi. Söz konusu taşıtların yüzde 51,8'ini otomobil, yüzde 21,2'sini motosiklet, yüzde 14,6'sını kamyonet, yüzde 6,8'ini traktör, yüzde 3,1'ini kamyon, yüzde 1,6'sını minibüs, yüzde 0,6'sını otobüs ve yüzde 0,3'ünü özel amaçlı taşıtlar oluşturdu. Ocak-mart döneminde, trafiğe kaydı yapılan taşıt sayısı ise geçen yılın aynı dönemine göre, yüzde 14,4 azalışla 426 bin 342'ye geriledi. Taşıtların illere göre dağılımı incelendiğinde, en çok kaydın İstanbul'da yapıldığı görüldü. Bu dönemde kentte, 129 bin 20 taşıt trafiğe çıktı. İstanbul'u 38 bin 428 kayıtla Ankara, 26 bin 755 kayıtla İzmir ve 17 bin 910 kayıtla Antalya izledi. Böylece, ocak-mart döneminde 4 şehirde trafiğe kaydedilen 212 bin 113 taşıt, ülke genelinde yollara çıkan araçların yaklaşık yarısını oluşturdu. İstanbul'da ocakta 45 bin 716, şubatta 35 bin 876 ve martta 47 bin 428 taşıtın kayıt işlemi gerçekleştirildi. Ankara'da ise ocakta 14 bin 544, şubatta 10 bin 825 ve martta 13 bin 59 taşıt trafiğe kaydoldu. İzmir'de ocakta 8 bin 730, şubatta 7 bin 575 ve martta 10 bin 450 taşıtın trafiğe kaydı yapılırken, Antalya'da ocakta 5 bin 592, şubatta 5 bin 18 ve martta 7 bin 300 taşıt yollara çıktı.
