Aucune équipe n’a réussi à prendre l’ascendant. Le Lesotho et les Seychelles se sont neutralisés (0-0) lors du match aller du tour préliminaire des éliminatoires de la Coupe d’Afrique des nations 2027. Une première manche fermée qui laisse le suspense intact avant le retour.

Disputée en Érythrée, cette rencontre n’a offert ni but ni véritable domination. Pendant 90 minutes, les deux sélections se sont observées, sans parvenir à faire la différence. Les défenses ont pris le pas sur les attaques, empêchant toute ouverture du score. Dans un match fermé et très disputé, les deux sélections n’ont pas réussi à se départager lors de cette première manche des éliminatoires de la Coupe d’Afrique des nations 2027.

Tout reste à faire au match retour

Avec ce score nul et vierge, aucune des deux équipes ne prend un avantage décisif. Les compteurs restent à égalité parfaite, et la qualification se jouera intégralement lors de la seconde manche.

Le Lesotho peut toutefois nourrir des ambitions, puisqu’il accueillera le match retour à domicile. Un contexte qui pourrait peser dans la balance, tant sur le plan psychologique que sportif. Devant son public, la sélection aura l’occasion de faire la différence et de valider son billet pour la suite des éliminatoires.
