Heavy rains continued across Balochistan on Thursday, submerging several areas, damaging property, and claiming lives in multiple districts. According to the Meteorological Department, the recent downpour killed two people in Kech. The roof collapse incidents in Kohlu and Harnai left a girl and another person injured. Torrential rain and hail triggered flash floods in Khuzdar, Turbat, Kech, Noshki, and Panjgur, damaging mud houses and roads. In Quetta, continuous rainfall since Tuesday night disrupted the drainage system, blocking several nullahs and causing difficulties for residents. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has kept its teams on alert for any emergencies.
