A lottery ticket holder in Wolverhampton is sitting on a fortune worth £120,000 but has yet to claim the prize.

The winning ticket from the Set For Life draw held on Monday, April 27, remains unclaimed more than two weeks later.

The fortunate player successfully matched all five main numbers in that draw: 6, 13, 37, 42 and 43.

Rather than receiving the sum as a lump payment, the prize structure awards the winner £10,000 each month over 12 months.

The ticket was purchased in Wolverhampton, although the buyer's identity remains unknown.

National Lottery operator Allwyn has described the unclaimed winnings as "incredible" and is now appealing for the mystery winner to come forward before the time expires.

Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at Allwyn, has issued an urgent plea to anyone who may have purchased a ticket in the West Midlands city.

Mr Carter said: "We're calling on players who may have bought a ticket in Wolverhampton for the Set for Life draw on April 27 to check and double-check their tickets."

He added: "Do you live in Wolverhampton or were you passing through? You could be our missing winner."

The appeal extends beyond local residents to anyone who might have been travelling through the area around the time of the draw.

Mr Carter said: "We'd like nothing more than to unite our mystery ticket-holder with their incredible prize."

The search continues as lottery officials grow increasingly eager to locate the fortunate ticket holder.

Those hoping to claim the prize face a firm deadline of October 24 to present their winning ticket.

Anyone who believes they hold the lucky numbers should contact the National Lottery Line by emailing help@national-lottery.co.uk or telephoning 0333 234 5050.

Players who have a legitimate claim but have misplaced their ticket are not entirely without options, although they must complete a specific form and alert Allwyn within 30 days of the original draw date.

Should the deadline pass without a successful claim, the £120,000 prize will be redirected.

The full amount, along with any accumulated interest, will be used to support National Lottery-funded projects throughout the United Kingdom.

Elsewhere, a EuroMillions ticket holder is at risk of losing out on a substantial prize of £112,091, with fewer than 30 days remaining to come forward.

The winning ticket was bought in Powys for the draw held on December 12, 2025.

The deadline to collect the winnings falls on June 10, 2026.
