Three-year-old boy left fighting for his life after 'plunging from first-floor window'

Emergency services scrambled to the scene after the youngster plunged to the ground from a property in Spotland Tops, Rochdale, on Saturday afternoon.  An air ambulance was also deployed and landed close to the area shortly after 4.15pm. Police and paramedics also rushed to help the young boy, who was said to have suffered serious injuries. 'Emergency services attended and the child was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains in a critical condition. 'Enquiries into the full circumstances around this incident are ongoing.'
