Collectively, the defendants allegedly provided more than $2,000 to a person they believed was am ISIS member and expressed a desire to harm U.S. service members. ISIS, or the Islamic State of Iraq and Al Sham, is designated a transnational terrorist group.Ghafoor allegedly said he wanted to behead a female soldier and wrote, “I wish I could kill 300,000,000 Americans,” according to the release. All three also expressed a desire to travel abroad to fight for ISIS.
