Three suffer 'knife wounds' in school stabbing: Pupils in lockdown as girl is arrested

Police say a girl has been arrested and the Co-Op Academy on Plant Hill Road has been placed in lockdown. A spokesman said: 'Three people have been injured however injuries aren't believed to be serious at this time. 'Emergency services remain on scene and we are supporting the school. There is not believed to be any wider threat to the pupils and staff in the school.' Police and ambulance vehicles have been pictured outside the school gates and within the school grounds.
