Three bald eagles go missing from Dollywood after damage from storm

By LAUREN ACTON-TAYLOR, US NEWS REPORTER Published: 05:41, 28 April 2026 | Updated: 05:42, 28 April 2026 Dollywood is missing three bald eagles from the Eagle Mountain Sanctuary after storms battered the Tennessee area.  Rockland, Caesar and Wesley are the three eagles missing from the sanctuary in Dollywood, the theme park dedicated to iconic country star Dolly Parton.  The park has called for the public's help to locate the injured birds.  The American Eagle Foundation said they are on the hunt for the eagles who escaped from the aviary after a tree toppled over and 'compromised' it.  Lori Moore, the CEO of the foundation, said in a video on social media that three eagles were found outside of the aviary and took flight, another eagle was located and received medical attention.  'We have teams on the ground actively tracking them, but we also still need your help,' Moore said. 'Keep your eyes on the skies.'   'We are endeared to these birds and especially these birds that we know are non-releasable,' she told WBIR.  'They count on us to help take care of them, so we want to continue to do so.'
