Meta credited its “communities” feature for the platform surpassing the 500 million monthly active users milestone, which allows users to join spaces where they can discuss topics with others, like the NBA, books or movies. Meta said Tuesday it would enhance the “communities” feature, advancing it out of the beta stage while updating visuals and adding a communities hub to the main menu of users’ feeds.
