Yet after a long, turgid speech, he didn’t answer a single question. This is not a dictatorship. He already faces serious questions about his viability and authenticity, having never put his campaign to be PM to the country. Not once did he mention tackling the bloated welfare bill, or the fact that taxpayers now pay more interest on the national debt than we spend on defence. The comments below have not been moderated.
