Published: 16:18, 4 June 2026 | Updated: 16:19, 4 June 2026 An Australian family have been left living in despair after their home was surrounded with a 10ft mound of manure, which they allege was left by their neighbours.  Homeowner Megan Perry claimed the local council won't help and their property is now unsellable after having lived on the acreage in Dooralong on the NSW Central Coast for 12 years. Ms Perry raised her five kids among free-range chickens and enjoyed a quiet country lifestyle until 15 months ago, when brothers Elefthrous and Petros Karagounis, known as Terry and Peter, bought the 385acres surrounding three sides of her home. She said her peaceful rural dream quickly turned into a nightmare involving roaring motorbikes, gunshots and even army trucks driving around the property at all hours of the day and night. 'Our whole family is too scared to be in our home,' she told Daily Mail. 'As soon as I hear those engines my heart starts pounding and I'm not sleeping. 'The police have given me access to the victims hotline for counselling and I went to my doctor and was diagnosed with chronic stress disorder. He gave me Valium. I don't want that. I don't want to be on medication.' Megan said the matter has now been before the courts five times, which has resulted in her being granted an interim Personal Violence Order (PVO) against Terry.   She also claims she has attended numerous meetings with police and detectives, has submitted a 100-page journal to Central Coast Council, and that two other neighbours have taken out a PVO on Terry because of the same situation. Megan Perry claimed the local council won't help in a dispute with her neighbours and their property is now unsellable The 10-foot wall of poo surrounding the Central Coast property which Ms Perry has peacefully occupied for more than 12 years At first, the issues did not involve her directly and instead centred on a dispute between the brothers and the former caretakers of another farm, who were still living out the final 11 weeks of their tenancy in one of the cottages. That row ended up before the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT), with the court ruling in favour of the caretakers.   The couple won the NCAT hearing and it was found that Terry used excessive force  to get them out. Ms Perry said she first met Terry in November 2024. 'He was standing at my fence and so I went to say hi,' she said.  'We chatted for a while and he said that if I ever wanted to sell my property he'd be interested in buying it.  'I told him I had no plans, but that if I changed my mind I'd let him know. 'I also told him riders often get stuck inside the property and I would let them through my gate when that happened, but he said if anyone trespasses on his land they will get shot in the leg.' One of Megan's neighbours, Terry, is pictured outside her property walking on the mound Around a week later, MS Perry claims the noise began. 'It started with revving motorbikes and buggies around our fence line day and night,' she said.  'We just have one tiny plot in the middle of their land, but thats where they chose to ride. 'They took it in turns, around and around.'  Next came a heavy-duty, camouflaged military truck. 'The army truck would face our home revving and revving, and he would turn on the high beams and leave them on all night facing our house.' 'It was week after week and it got so bad that I had to put tin foil on all of our windows to block it out because we couldn't sleep. 'My kids were terrified. They are teenagers now but they were so scared and they started to sleep in the lounge-room instead. 'Then one day another guy turned up and mowed a motorcycle track right around our house. They started riding bikes around and around, the green grass turned to dirt within days. They smashed it.' The army truck Ms Perry said was used to shine high-beams into her house Pictured is an aerial shot of Ms Perry's property with it surrounded by dirt Megan claims dump trucks arrived soon afterwards and deposited large piles of manure near her boundary fence. 'Piles and piles of it. And they just left it there a metre from my fence for six weeks. 'Then he ploughed up his paddock and built 10ft dirt walls and every time he dumped a new load of dirt he blasted the horn. 'That wall enclosed the manure between the mound and the fence and it's just total harassment, the revving, the smell, the dirt.' She said the dust has covered her home, rendered her pool unusable, turned her water brown and caused flooding across the property. 'Our house has been deemed unsellable. That's what the real estate told me so I can't even move if I want to and our living environment is horrendous.' Ms Perry also claims Terry now uses the dirt mound to walk the perimeter of her property at all hours. 'We have cameras. I can see him. He uses it as his own personal footpath and is just out there walking around our home, sometimes at 3am just whistling,' she claimed. Construction equipment moved piles of dirt just outside Ms Perry's property  The wall of poo can be seen just over the fence behind Megan's pool Throughout the ordeal, Megan says she has diligently reported the incidents to both police and the local council. 'Council told this man to remove the dirt mound on January 9, but now it's delayed as he says he is putting in a DA for a building, so council stopped the ruling. 'They called again today to say he has got until Wednesday to submit paperwork, but the walls have been surrounding our home since January 2025 and we are tired of fighting. 'I have over 100 pages of evidence, countless event numbers from police, we have our own detective assigned to us and I have spent about 12 hours with her giving her everything I have. 'We have had meetings with police and top criminal investigators. It's become so crazy.' At her wits end Megan says she is out of options and doesn't know where she can turn to next.  'I don't have the money for a lawyer. I'm unrepresented and we live pay cheque to pay cheque.' 'They paid $10 million for that property and I paid $625,000 for mine 12 years ago and now it's not even worth that.' The comments below have not been moderated.
