Hulu was set to announce Wednesday that it has ordered the series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County,” a spinoff series set to premiere sometime later this year. The O.C. edition reps the first offshoot of “Mormon Wives,” something that has long been expected given the tremendous popularity of the original series. “We can absolutely do the secret lives of many other types of wives, but I think we want to be careful,” Disney alternative TV boss Rob Mills told Variety last year. “But yes, this could be a franchise starter for sure.” Related Stories 'Young Sherlock' Renewed for Season 2 at Amazon
