It’s also emblematic of the original TV series, and it’s here that the issue starts.While most of the rights for Macross finally reverted to BigWest back in 2021, the original TV series and movie, Do You Remember Love?, are still in somewhat of a limbo, with Harmony Gold still involved with these two specific properties.This is because back in the mid-80s, Macross, Southern Cross, and MOSPEADA were hacked together to create Robotech, which is owned by Harmony Gold.That means because this SDF-1 toy is from the original Macross, it won’t be getting a release in the US.
