Adam Kabbout, 28, went to the woman's home in Belmore, western Sydney on April 15, 2022, eight months after they matched on the app. He drove there with his three mates and Kabbout initially went in alone, before later letting the others into the apartment while the woman was showering. The 22-year-old woman had only agreed to meet Kabbout at her apartment but came out of the bathroom to find the three others in her living room. Despite repeatedly crying 'No, I don't want to', Kabbout ordered her into her bedroom with the other men, ordering her to ‘suck him off’ and ‘just do it’ when she refused. The woman performed oral sex on three of the men while crying and repeatedly saying she didn’t want to, before one of the co-accused raped her twice. Kabbout watched on and urged the other men to take turns raping her while she repeatedly begged them to stop.  Police arrested Adam Kabbout and three others after the 'predatory' gang rape in which a 22-year-old woman was ordered by Kabbout to commit sex acts on men who she'd never met A court heard that after meeting the young woman on Tinder, Kabbout let three men into her flat while she was in the shower and then ordered her to have sex with them Two months after the ordeal, police raided Kabbout's family home in Ashcroft at dawn, arresting another man and charging two more in the following months. A subsequent trial in the NSW Supreme Court heard there was a five-second video showing the victim resisting one of her attackers.  The video, taken on one of the assailants' phones, showed a man standing in front of the woman as she sat at the foot of her bed. The woman, who was unaware the video was being taken, could beheard saying 'I don’t want...' as he put his hand behind her head and pulled it towards his erect penis. The woman then said, 'I don’t want to' a second time and swiped at the man's arm holding her head. Kabbout was convicted of four counts of aggravated sexual assault in company as a participant in a joint criminal enterprise, and acquitted of two similar counts involving a co-accused.  He appealed on the grounds that the verdicts were unreasonable, arguing the Crown failed to prove ‘directorial acts’ and that inconsistencies in the victim's evidence undermined her credibility.  The NSW Court of Criminal Appeal dismissed his appeal.
