Emergency services were called to the Islamic College of Brisbane in Karawatha shortly before midday on Tuesday following reports of an alleged stabbing. It's alleged two boys were involved in an altercation in the school courtyard, during which one was allegedly stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife. A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed a male patient, 17, was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a life-threatening condition. Queensland Police on Tuesday afternoon at boy, 16, had been charged with one count each of acts intended to maim/disfigure/disable and unlawful possession of weapons. Police alleged the 16-year-old boy, who was known to the alleged victim, fled the scene on foot before police arrived. 'Following enquiries, he was located a short time later in a vehicle on Gowan Road, Stretton,' Queensland Police said in a statement. The 16-year-old will appear before Richlands Childrens Court on Wednesday, July 15.
