By CAITLIN POWELL - NEWS REPORTER Published: 02:05, 13 June 2026 | Updated: 02:12, 13 June 2026 A 16-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital with critical head injuries after falling from a Sydney train. NSW Police were called to the railway corridor between St Peters and Sydenham Stations about 8.15am on Saturday. Police were told the boy had fallen from a train onto the tracks. He was then taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical but stable condition, where he remains for treatment. Police have launched an investigation into the incident. Services from Central station were disrupted, with delays across multiple lines and some services placed on hold. Trains between Sydenham and Redfern on the T2 Leppington and Inner West Line, T3 Liverpool and Inner West Line and T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra Line were all halted early on Saturday. But they were running normally by 11am. Transport for NSW said passengers should continue to allow extra travel time, listen to announcements and check information displays as services return to normal.
