Published: 00:28, 13 May 2026 | Updated: 00:33, 13 May 2026 A teenage girl wearing grey tracksuit pants and slippers was dragged out of her home by cops and arrested for allegedly being involved in a 'surveillance operation' linked to Sydney's underworld.   NSW Police believe the 18-year-old was 'allegedly involved in the planning of an act of violence on a 44-year-old man by stalking him in a highly coordinated surveillance operation while armed with a knife'.   Two detectives were seen escorting the teenager away from her Merrylands home, in Sydney's west, on Monday, while she clung onto her vape before being bundled into a police paddy wagon. Her home had been raided earlier that day.  She was taken to Granville Police Station where she was charged with participating in a criminal group to contribute to criminal activity, armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, attempting to stalk/intimidate with intent to cause fear of harm (personal), and custody of knife in public place. The arrest comes after two houses in Merrylands and Guildford were shot at on April 18. Police were called to the scene and spotted a black SUV leaving the area. A police chase ensued after the SUV allegedly failed to stop, with the car later found abandoned in Fairfield. A teenage girl wearing grey tracksuit pants and slippers was dragged out of her home by cops and arrested for allegedly being involved in a 'surveillance operation' linked to Sydney's underworld The teen was seen clinging her vape before she was bundled into a paddy wagon A 17-year-old boy and 21-year-old man were found in the area and arrested and charged, while cops seized firearms and two jerry cans. It's alleged the pair charged are also linked to the 'highly coordinated' surveillance operation of the 44-year-old. The taskforce that arrested the woman is the same operation going after the Alameddine organised crime network. NSW Police Detective Superintendent Jason Box said the crime family was linked to both the April 18 shootings and a gunfire and arson attack at a barber shop and cafe earlier that day.  'It would appear the first incident had caused the other three acts in retaliation,' he said. The 18-year-old was due to face court on Tuesday.  The teenager's home was raided earlier that day  Two Taskforce Falcon detectives could be seen pulling the 18-year-old away from her Merrylands home in broad daylight before leading her into a police vehicle Sorry we are not currently accepting comments on this article.
