By JOE HUTCHISON, US SENIOR NEWS REPORTER Published: 16:14, 9 June 2026 | Updated: 16:26, 9 June 2026 A teacher convicted of sexual misconduct with a 17-year-old boy was warned by her husband that her 'hot' looks would cause trouble at work. McKenna Kindred, 28, detailed the prophetic warning in texts sent to the teenager she molested, while also complaining about her spouse Kyle Kindred in great detail. Kindred, of Spokane in Washington, was sentenced to two years probation for first-degree sexual misconduct in April 2024, with the Daily Mail now uncovering new details about her crimes through a records request made to Spokane County Sheriff's Office. Asked by the boy if her husband got 'mad' at her, Kindred answered, without a hint of irony: 'Haha not like mad mad, more like "you need to be careful. You're hot and kids know it and you can get in trouble if you're not careful', police records said. Kyle's warning ended up coming to pass in November 2022, when Kindred had sex with the 17-year-old in her marital bed for three-and-a-half hours while Kyle was away hunting. The encounter was reported to police by the mother of the boy, who attended Central Valley High School in Spokane, a month after it took place. The disgraced school teacher, seen here with her husband Kyle, had sex with the teenager for three-and-a-half hours inside the apartment she shared with her partner The former Central Valley High School teacher was spared jail with one year's probation and a two-year suspended sentence Kindred also sent a slew of texts to the boy complaining about her husband, the police files revealed. Writing about her bad mood in one message exchange, she told the boy: 'I'm not grumpy till he gets home. So you help me more than you know.' The disgraced ex-teacher then detailed an absurdly petty argument with Kyle that erupted after he came home from work and told her he was glad she was being 'pleasant tonight and not grumpy with me.' Kindred told the boy that she and Kyle argued until he suggested they go to a Wendy's for dinner. But she wrote that tempers flared again when it was time to order food. 'So we got there and I said "don't order yet, I don't know what I want", and then he started ordering and so then he was like "what do you want?", Kindred wrote. 'And I said "I have no clue! I said wait a minute", and he said "okay drama, what do you want", then I said "nothing, I'll eat something at home".' Kindred ended up going home on an empty stomach. Meanwhile, the newly-obtained records also reveal how Kindred was stalked by a boy during a prior teaching job in Idaho. The pestering became so serious that the school had to be locked down on one occasion to keep the children and Kindred safe, Kindred claimed in one of the messages. According to Kindred the youth 'followed me home one day so my husband is concerned then mad.' That was the incident that prompted Kyle to warn Kindred about her looks, with the teacher insisting her husband was 'concerned' rather than angry. Kindred also told the boy how her husband was shocked to learn that a student called Diego had taken a photo with her phone and branded the behavior inappropriate. She told the boy that she'd answered: 'It's different and I don't think you fully understand.' It also emerged in the police papers that Kindred complained of being 'hit on' by a student of Central Valley while on a camping retreat in November of 2022. Kindred told fellow teacher Anne Siebert that the youngster asked her for her Snapchat details, Siebert urged her to tell school officials, the police records said Yet Siebert told investigators that Kindred failed to do so, instead citing the Idaho incident as being the reason for her hesitance, the report added. At her sentencing, seen here, she sobbed and apologized to her victim and his family Siebert told police that Kindred confided in her that she was also receiving messages to her Instagram page by students. According to Siebert she never saw or heard the messages, but that Kindred told her it involved students who claimed they wanted to 'f*** [Kindred] in the a**', the police report added. Siebert said that after Kindred was put on leave she never spoke with her again. Discussing Kindred's sexual abuse of the 17-year-old, Siebert said it led to her viewing Kindred as a 'wolf in sheep's clothing', the police report continued. The new files also highlighted what was the final conversation that Kindred had with the youngster. He texted her: 'I'm gonna miss you thank you for makin me happy', she replied: 'I hope your ok bc I think it will all be ok. I'm fine, I'll be okay.' The Daily Mail previously exposed how the two sent highly sexualized messages detailing their disturbing relationship. Around the time she had sex with the boy, he sent her a message saying 'Mom glad I can satisfy you' Kindred liked the message, with the teen then asking if she had used a sex toy while thinking about him. She replied: 'I did.' He texted her saying 'U should have video it and save it' so he could watch, with Kindred replying: 'Hm next time I need to relearn Snapchat haha.' Kindred was sentenced to 24 months' probation and ordered to sign the sex offenders' register for 10 years. Although the age of consent in Washington State is 16, adults can be charged if they have sex with children in their care, up to the age of 18. At her sentencing, she sobbed and apologized to her victim and his family. She is still with her lawyer husband Kyle and the couple live in a stunning $500,000 home in Idaho after leaving Washington state, the Daily Mail previously revealed.
