Thursday's rehearsal dinner took place at the arena's Infosys Theater, with the larger Friday celebration allegedly scheduled to begin with a cocktail hour on the venue's sixth-floor concourse before a reception running until the early hours of Saturday morning.

Security officials are said to have prepared for approximately 500 vehicles bringing guests to the event.

Ms Swift's devoted fanbase has developed elaborate theories suggesting the singer may have dropped hints about an earlier wedding date.

At the Toy Story 5 premiere on June 9, eagle-eyed followers noticed the pop star wore an Erdem dress featuring two prominent knots on the shoulders, which they interpreted as a subtle nod to having "tied the knot".

The floral embellishments on the gown were also seen as a reference to "the garden" – Madison Square Garden.
