konuşlandığı askeri noktaların kademeli olarak Suriye yönetimine teslim edilmesinden memnuniyet duyulduğu belirtildi. Açıklamada, Suriye devletinin kuzeydoğu bölgeleri ve sınır hatları dahil olmak üzere daha önce kontrolü dışında kalan alanlarda egemenliğini yeniden tesis etmesinin, ülkenin tek bir devlet çatısı altında birleştirilmesine yönelik sürecin sonucu olduğu ifade edildi. ABD’ye ait askeri noktaların devrinin, “Suriye Demokratik Güçleri’nin (SDG)” devlet kurumlarına entegrasyon sürecindeki ilerlemenin doğal bir sonucu olduğu kaydedilen açıklamada, Suriye’nin terörle mücadele ve bölgesel tehditlerle başa çıkma sorumluluğunu tam anlamıyla üstlendiği vurgulandı. Açıklamada ayrıca, ABD’nin Suriye’deki askeri misyonunu sonlandırma kararının, DEAŞ’ın bölgedeki yükselişine karşı yürütülen mücadelenin koşullarının önemli ölçüde değiştiğine dair ortak bir değerlendirmeyi yansıttığı aktarıldı. Suriye’nin artık terörle mücadeleyi uluslararası toplumla iş birliği içinde ülke içinden yönetebilecek durumda olduğu ifade edildi. Devir sürecinin, Suriye ve ABD hükümetleri arasında tam koordinasyon ve profesyonellik çerçevesinde gerçekleştiği aktarılan açıklamada, bunun iki ülke arasındaki ilişkilerin yapıcı bir zeminde geliştiğinin göstergesi olduğu kaydedildi. Açıklamada, Kasım 2025’te Suriye Cumhurbaşkanı Ahmed Şara ile ABD Başkanı Donald Trump arasında Beyaz Saray’da gerçekleştirilen görüşmenin ardından Şam ile Washington arasındaki ilişkilerde yeni bir döneme girildiği belirtildi. Suriye’nin, bu süreci diplomatik ilişkilerin güçlendirilmesi, ekonomik ortaklıkların geliştirilmesi ve iş birliği alanlarının genişletilmesi yönünde ilerletmeyi hedeflediği bildirildi.
