Police said it is believed the same man had been assaulted shortly beforehand in the beer garden of the Comfortable Cow on King Street.‌Two men, both wearing face coverings and carrying a "bladed weapon", allegedly attacked the victim, who sustained a single stab wound to his arm, Suffolk Police said. The man ran from the scene, with the suspects following him along King Street, before turning right from the pub. He was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.‌The first suspect is described as being at least 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, and wearing a black Adidas-style hooded top and a balaclava. The second is described as under 5ft 6in, also of slim build, wearing black clothing and a balaclava.Officers are treating the assault as a "targeted incident" and believe those were known to each other.
