Stirling retail park stabbing horror as two in hospital and 999 crews scrambled
Two men have suffered serious stab wounds in an incident outside a retail park in Stirling, which police are investigating as attempted murder. The men, aged 46 and 38, were allegedly attacked outside a unit at Burghmuir Retail Park, off Burghmuir Road, at around 7.15pm on Saturday, Police Scotland said. The pair were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment for "stab wounds", the force said. Their injuries are described as serious but are not believed to be life-threatening. The incident is being investigated as attempted murder and enquiries are ongoing. Detective Chief Inspector Scott Roxburgh said: "Our enquiries to establish what happened are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have information which may help to get in touch. "As well as the location at the retail park, we are also carrying out enquiries at nearby Colquhoun Street. I would ask anyone who have witnessed any disturbance in these areas on Saturday evening, or who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage, to get in touch." Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 2780 of May 9. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via crimestoppers-uk.org.المصدر: Mirror | Source: Mirror
