Fellow convicted killer David Norris, 49, was denied his "cynical" bid for freedom last year over concerns he may still pose a danger to the public.‌Dobson was jailed in 2012 for a minimum of 15 years and two months for the murder and his minimum term expires early next year. Stephen's father, Neville Lawrence, 84, said: "We are waiting to hear because I'm sure he's going to try to get parole as well.
