Bilim Dalı Öğretim Üyesi olan Prof. Dr. Dilci, AA muhabirine, dijital içeriklerin çocuklar üzerinde önemli etkiler bıraktığını söyledi. Dijital içeriklerde algoritma maruziyeti ve görünmeyen bir yönlendirmenin söz konusu olduğunu anlatan Dilci, bu maruziyetin kimlik dejenerasyonu ve benlik algısı üzerindeki duyguyu yok ederek, çocuğu teslimiyetçi bir bireye dönüştürdüğünü savundu. Dilci, sosyal medya mecralarındaki kısa videoların da çocuklarda ciddi anlam kaybına yol açtığına dikkati çekti. Bu mecralarda subliminal (bilinçaltı mesaj) mesajlar ve algoritmalarla davranışların tetiklenebildiğini dile getiren Dilci, "Sosyal izolasyon ve dijital yoğunluk, bir davranışsal kırılmaya dönüşmektedir. Bu davranışsal kırılma çocukta, çevreyle kuramadığı temassızlık içerisinde içsel bir birikime, sonrasında da çevreye karşı bir patlamaya ve öfkeye dönüşebilmektedir." diye konuştu. Dilci, dijital mecralardaki anlam arayışı ve kendini tanımlama biçiminin yeni bir karakter oluşumuna yol açtığını belirterek, "Bu karakter oluşumunda, karşı tarafı suçlayıcı, saldırgan ve şiddet içerikli oyunlar var. Bunların birtakım görevlendirmeler ve hipnotik tekniklerle bilinçaltına yerleşmesiyle çocuk harekete geçiyor. Bundan sonra hem kendine hem çevresine zarar veriyor." dedi. Bazı dizi, film ve gündüz kuşağı programlarının şiddet içeriklerini legalleştirdiğini öne süren Dilci, bunun da çocuklarda şiddet eğilimini tetiklediğini vurguladı. Çocukları şiddet ve dijital mecraların olumsuz etkilerinden uzak tutmak için aile, eğitim ve psikolojik desteğin önemli olduğunu vurgulayan Dilci, "Her çocukta birtakım davranışsal sapmalar olabilir. Bunların önceden tespit edilmesi, görülmesi gerekir. Okullardaki sorunlar sadece rehberlik servisine indirgeniyor. Eskiden geleneksel eğitimde öğretmenlerimizin tamamı bu rehberlik uygulamalarının içerisindeydi. Olayı gördüğü yerde çözme, çocuğu uyarma, denetleme ve düzeltme gibi bir misyonu vardı." ifadelerini kullandı. Yine izole olmuş oda veya yalnız kaldığı yerlerde hangi dijital mecra ve içeriklere maruz kaldığını ailelerin takip etmesi gerekir." şeklinde konuştu.
