Sophie Rain slams Sydney Sweeney Euphoria scenes, says “I’d Never Do That”
ALBAWABA - Sophie Rain criticizes Sydney Sweeney scenes as disturbing and exaggerated.
Sophie Rain has joined many who have expressed concerns over Sydney Sweeney's parts in the new season of the hit show "Euphoria."
The actress is under fire because her character, Cassie, was portrayed disguised as a baby and later a dog in an attempt to increase her visibility on the adult site.
Sophie Rain has responded to the contentious Sydney Sweeney scenes, stating that they are "disturbing" to her and are being "dramatized" for "shock value."

Rain did not hold back in her condemnation of the "disturbing" images featuring Sweeney presented in the first episode of the hit TV show.
Sydney Sweeney and the show's creator, Sam Levinson, have received harsh criticism from certain fans and critics who believe they went too far with the sexualization and debasing of Sweeney's character, Cassie.
While applauding the show for "bringing OnlyFans into the entertainment space," Rain told TMZ that scenes showcasing Sweeney's character as a platform content creator were "disturbing."
She stated, "I believe the way they are handling it is overdramatic. I've seen her dressed like a dog. I think it's insane to be pulled around on a leash. I would never do that. They're clearly making it theatrical for entertainment, but it's not real."
"I don't know any huge OnlyFans creators who are putting on a dog outfit, especially her dressed up as a newborn," Rain said, adding, "That was pretty unsettling to see for me at least. "That should almost be illegal."
Sophie Rain says she doesn't agree with how 'Euphoria' portrays adult content creators.
Rain said she "loves" Sweeney's character on the show because she "plays it very well."
However, she underlined that the actress's actions on the show were dramatized "for shock value" and did not correspond to the stuff that she, as an actual adult content provider, produces.
"I just disagree with it. We shouldn't be portraying OnlyFans in that light since a lot of young girls watch 'Euphoria,' and I believe it's incredibly misleading," Rain said.

In the new season of the show, Sweeney's character, Cassie, has turned to content creation in the hopes of making her own money while engaged to Nate (Jacob Elordi). The contentious moments then emerge as she conducts provocative photo shoots in an attempt to increase her profile on the platform.
Sweeney's character appeared in one scene disguised as a baby in a diaper, sucking on a pacifier and holding her legs up with her hands. In another, the actress dressed up like a dog and pretended to be on all fours.
Sydney Sweeney came under fire online for her 'Euphoria' scene.
"I just disagree with it. We shouldn't be portraying OnlyFans in that light since a lot of young girls watch 'Euphoria,' and I believe it's incredibly misleading," Rain said.
On social media, the reaction to Sweeney's scenes was much harsher, with many fans chastising the actress for agreeing to the screenplay.
Someone on X commented, "So Sydney Sweeney saw this in the screenplay and still agreed to do it? Sam Levinson, Sydney Sweeney, and everyone else involved in this should be banned."
Another commented, "This is embarrassing even for Jacob. But how could Sydney Sweeney agree to something like this? It resembles a humiliating ritual."
"Sidney Sweeney, you can set standards for yourself." "The behaviour is repulsive," another person stated of the contentious scenes.
Sweeney's character has always been controversial, and the actress has had to defend her vision for the role and its explicit scenes.
During a 2022 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she stated that she was not disturbed by her filthy scenes and "won't stop doing them."
Sweeney claims that such startling scenes are not intended to shock the audience but rather to advance the plot.
"People forget that I'm playing a character, and they think, 'Oh, she gets naked onscreen, she's a sex symbol,'" the actress told the outlet. "And I can't move past that. I have no objections to those moments and will continue to perform them, but I wish there was a more convenient method to have an open discussion about what we expect of actors in the industry."
