تلقى سمو ولي العهد الشيخ صباح خالد الحمد الصباح حفظه الله اتصالا هاتفيا من فخامة الرئيس إدغارز رينكيفيتش رئيس جمهورية لاتفيا الصديقة أدان خلاله الهجمات الإيرانية السافرة على أراضي دولة الكويت معتبرا إياها انتهاكا صارخا للسيادة والقانون الدولي مؤكدا دعم بلاده الكامل وتأييدها لكافة الإجراءات التي تتخذها الكويت لحفظ سيادتها وأمنها مشيرا فخامته إلى ضرورة تغليب الحكمة ولغة الحوار والتهدئة بين كافة الأطراف في المنطقة للحفاظ على استقرار وأمن الدول والمدنيين.
